On 8 July 2022, Ambassador of Thailand to Spain assigned Mr. Pongprach Makchang, Minister, and Mr. Pakorn Kumpornlua, First Secretary, to attend the Asia-Pacific Diplomatic Council hosted by Casa Asia under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union, and Cooperation of Spain. The meeting was held at the City Council of Barcelona.

 

In this regard, the Minister expressed appreciation for the close cooperation between Casa Asia and the Royal Thai Embassy in Madrid in carrying out various activities to foster a greater understanding between the Thai and Spanish people. These activities include Thai film screening, Thai food cooking demonstration, Thai language courses for Spanish people and a seminar on teaching Spanish language in Thailand in collaboration with the Cervantes Institute. After the meeting, the Minister and Mr. Pakorn attended the Casa Asia Awards 2022 and a networking lunch between the diplomatic delegation of the Asia-Pacific and the local authorities of Barcelona.
