On 21 May 2024, H.E. Mr. Vosita Vorasaph, Ambassador of Thailand to Spain, the embassy officials, together with their families and the Thai Buddhist community, participated in a merit-making ceremony and offered alms to Ajaan Chandako Bhikkhu, a Spanish monk from Wat Pah Nanachat (Theravada Buddhist Monastery in the Thai Forest Tradition), Ubon Ratchathani Provice. A Dhamma talk was also held for the participants on the occasion of Visakha Bucha Day (22 May 2024).
Ajaan Chandako Bhikkhu is on a visit to Spain to give Dhamma talks and teach meditation to interested individuals in Madrid and Barcelona, as part of the collaboration between Casa Asia and Thailand Foundation.
