On March 16, 2026, the Chargé d'affaires attended a meeting of the Association of International Diplomats in Spain (AIDE) at the residence of the Mexican Ambassador to Spain. This meeting was held to summarize the outcome of the GALA Dinner event held on February 27 at Rosewood Villa Magna Hotel, aimed at raising funds for the Queen Sofia Foundation (Fundacion Reina Sofia) and the Queen Sofia Advanced Music School (Escuela Superior de Musica Reina Sofia). Funds were efficiently raised through sales of tickets for the charity dinner participation, sales of raffle tickets, and auctions of outstanding products from various countries.
