Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) led by Ms. Srisuda Wanapinyosak Deputy Governor for International Marketing (Europe, Africa, Middle East and Americas and TAT Rome Office participates in Feria Internacional de Turismo-FITUR in Madrid during 23 – 27 January 2019 at IFEMA Feria de Madrid.

On 24 January 2019, TAT hosted the Networking Luncheon for travel companies and tour agencies to promote Thailand`s travel strategy and plan for 2019.

According to TAT, in 2018, the number of tourists from Spain visiting Thailand accounts for 180,000,  reflecting 2 per cent growth from the year before. For 2019, TAT projects the growth of 5 per cent. 

According to FITUR, this year’s edition will be its biggest ever with the participation of 886 stand-holder exhibitors and more than 10,487 companies from 165 countries and regions; and it is forecasted to to have an economic impact in Madrid of over €325 million.
