On 18 November 2015, Mrs. Busya Mathelin, Ambassador of Thailand attended ‘IBTM world 2015’ held in Barcelona during 17-19 November 2015 at the invitation of Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB).

The Ambassador delivered a welcoming remarks at a cocktail reception held at the Thai Pavillion. The Ambassador informed the participants about the Thai Government’s policy to promote Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions or MICE Industry, Thailand’s potentials as a hub for MICE meetings in Asia, as well as invited them to consider Thailand as a preferred destination for MICE meetings. The participants had the opportunity to taste Thai food, watch Thai performances and participated in a raffle with prizes ranging from hotel stays, luxurious meals to various leisure activities in Thailand.

IBTM World (formerly known as EIBTM) is a leading global event for the meetings and events industry, attended by exhibitors and hosted buyers from over 100 countries around the world.  IBTM world 2016 will be held from 29 November to 1 December 2016 in Barcelona.
