On 22 June 2024, H.E. Mr. Vosita Vorasaph, Ambassador of Thailand to Spain, along with his spouse, officials, and officers from the Royal Thai Embassy participated in the 154 Year Thai-Spanish Fashion Week, organized by Muang Siam Association in the Canary Islands at the Hotel Botanico and Oriental Spa. Mr. Marco Blanco, Mayor of Puerta de la Cruz, Mr. Christoph Kiessling, Honorary Consul of Thailand at Santa Cruz de Tenerife along with guests from the Spanish local authorities, foreign guests and Thais amounting to more than 100 persons were also in attendance. The event saw a fashion show showcasing Thai national dresses as well as modern Thai costumes designed by local Thai designers in Spain.
