On 20 December 2019, high-level executives of the Port of Barcelona met with Chargé d’affaires, a.i., and Director of Thailand’s Commercial Office in Madrid regarding the interest of the Port to organize a trade mission to Thailand in 2020 to strengthen trade and commercial relations between Thailand and Spain.
