On 7 April 2021, H.E. Mrs. Phantipha Iamsudha Ekarohit, Ambassador of Thailand to Spain, met  with Mr. Javier Parrondo, Director of Casa Asia. Mr. Pongprach Makchang, Minister, Ms. Prapasri Chetsonkcul, Counsellor and Ms. Carmen Diez Orejas, Deputy Director of Casa Asia, were also present at the meeting.

In this occasion, both sides discussed on collaboration between the Royal Thai Embassy in Madrid and Casa Asia to promote the image of Thailand in Spain, through various activities, including the screening of Thai films, the teaching of Thai language and the demonstration of Thai cooking, among others.
