On 16 March 2023, Mr. Pongprach Makchang, Chargé d'affaires a.i. of the Royal Thai Embassy in Madrid, along with Mr. Worawut Chawengkiat, Counsellor, and Mr. Pakorn Kumpornlua, First Secretary, attended the opening ceremony of the art exhibition "Tapestry of Femininity - An aperture to Southeast Asia's shared heritage through a feminine perspective" at the Centro Cultural Eduardo Urculo. The event was organised by the ASEAN Committee in Madrid (ACM) in collaboration with the Municipal of Tetuan, Madrid. H.E. Dato Akmal Che Mustafa, Ambassador of Indonesia and the Chair of ACM, co-hosted the event with Mr. Santiago Saura, concejal del Área Delegada de Internacionalización y Cooperación, Ayuntamiento de Madrid. The art exhibition showcased various artwork of Ms. Anna Karina Jardin, a Filipino visual artist, where she has had extensive work in many countries in ASEAN.
