On 6 May 2021, H.E. Mrs. Phantipha Iamsudha Ekarohit, Ambassador of Thailand to Spain, participated in the ASEAN Committee in Madrid (ACM) Meeting, held at the Embassy of the Philippines. 

At the Meeting, the ACM exchanged views on current situation in ASEAN as well as the ACM´s work plan for 2021, whose objective is to increase more dynamic to the relations with Spain.

Additionally, there was the Handing Over Ceremony of ACM Chairmanship by the outgoing Chair, H.E. Mr. Akmal Che Mustafa, Ambassador of Malaysia, to the incoming Chair, H.E. Mr. Philippe Lhuillier, Ambassador of the Philippines, who will hold the ACM Chairmanship during May until August 2021.
